Write Now 2024

Agatha Christie Festival is pleased to announce a new partnership with DAISI and MED Theatre, ‘Write Now 2024’, kindly supported by The D’Oyly Carte Charitable Trust.

At the start of this year, we issued a call-out for young people 8-19 years of age to join us for a series of high impact, huge fun, Easter Holiday and Summer School workshops taking place on Dartmoor, a place close to Agatha Christie’s heart, expertly facilitated by DAISI and MED Theatre and designed to hone young talent at writing and performing and working as a team. We are delighted that award-winning playwright & screen-writer Bea Roberts is joining us to support & mentor the work produced by our young participants.

On 7 September at 1.30 pm you can come along to watch the results of Write Now 2024 at a scratch performance by all those who took part in the programme. It's at Paignton Library during this year's Agatha Christie Festival. It's free to attend. Register here.
