Fringe Festival Programme Released

We are delighted to reveal details of our five-day Fringe Festival, which precedes our four-day Literary Festival. The Fringe was created to allow us to programme fun and social events in places right across Agatha Christie Country. They range from free events to a couple of really exclusive events and this year we are really pleased to include some places from Agatha's life in Devon that we have never visited before.

Amongst the many highlights of this year's Festival, we will be visiting Ugbrooke House, where Agatha Miller met Archie Christie, the Moorlands Hotel on Dartmoor where she wrote her first book and Burgh Island, which inspired two of her most famous novels. We will also be offering a steam train and boat trip adventure, a very exclusive afternoon tea in a private villa often visited by Agatha and her family and two very special events in churches where she would worship.

A number of partners are also putting on events over the Fringe Festival, including Kents Cavern, Paignton Zoo, Palace Theatre, the Mecure Hotel, Greenway House and Paignton Library. With such a packed programme, why not plan to come and join us for a whole week on the beautiful English Riviera?

We will be releasing details of our main Literary Festival next month, so keep an eye on your inboxes for that. In the meantime, please note that many of these Fringe events have very limited numbers of tickets available, so please don't miss out.
