The Agatha Christie Festival are delighted to be working alongside the team at Ugbrooke House to bring you this unique and rather spectacular murder mystery evening.
Step back in time to the elegance of the Edwardian era, where intrigue and refinement set the stage for an evening of mystery at Ugbrooke House. As part of the Agatha Christie Festival 2025, The Hon. Alexander Clifford and Lucy Clifford invite you to a distinguished night of fine dining and theatrical suspense.
This exclusive Murder Mystery experience has been specially written for the occasion by the esteemed Moonstone Theatre Company. The drama unfolds in the grand ballroom, the very room where, on 12th October 1912, a young Agatha Miller first met Archibald Christie at a ball—an encounter that would shape literary history. Two years later, on Christmas Eve, 1914, she became Agatha Christie. Guests will have the rare opportunity to view the guestbook signed by Archie Christie, which will be on display for the evening.
The evening will commence with a champagne reception at 6:30pm, followed by a three-course dinner served in the ballroom. Moonstone Theatre Company will set the scene for the mystery during the reception, with the drama unfolding between courses and culminating in the unmasking of the murderer.
With only 30 places available, early booking is essential.
