The Lunchtime Murder Club
Book Club
New for this year, we are introducing a free lunchtime social club for people to enjoy a fun activity whilst also having a bite to eat. You can either bring a packed lunch or grab something from the Torre Abbey Cafe. Events will run between 1.30pm and 2.30pm.
Join Mark Aldridge and Gray Robert Brown, presenters of The Swinging Christies podcast, for a relaxed and informal book club. They have chosen a Miss Marple book that was both published and set in the 1960s and your homework is to read (or re-read) The Mirror Crack'd from Side to Side before joining them for an informal chat.
Although the Lunchtime Murder Club is free, places will still need to be booked. We are planning to open bookings two weeks before the Festival, so people will have a better idea of their schedules and whether they can definitely make the events. Due to the nature of some of the activities, places may be limited.
