Paignton Zoo Murder Mystery

Find yourself immersed in a world of zoological drama as an evening of conspiracy unfolds around you, courtesy of Moonstone Theatre Company.

It is 1933, the Primley Zoological Gardens were very busy.

A new Tropical House was being put together and was due to open in the next 12 months. New exhibits were being brought in from all over the world and the latest arrival, just two days ago, was a spectacled bear from Peru.
However; one fateful morning, one of the Keepers was found dead in the not yet open Tropical House and it looked like he had been poisoned.

What had happened?

Was it an accident with one of the animals or was it something more sinister?

The Police are called, and an investigation begins. They key suspects have been brought together at the Zoo and the Investigator calls on the other guests to help him unravel the mystery. As the evening progresses tensions rise and secrets are revealed.

All of the clues will be there to catch the culprit but will they be correctly deduced?

The Investigator is determined to get to the truth before the evening is over.

2 course meal includes a hot plated main course and a dessert, but please note that this will not be table service

Getting to the Venue

How to get here by car:

Set your Sat Nav for TQ4 7EU. Paignton Zoo is located on the A3022 Totnes Road, one mile from Paignton town centre. Parking is free.

How to get here by bus:

Routes 22 and Stagecoach Gold all stop right by the zoo. For more information please visit stagecoachbus.com.

How to get here by train:

Paignton train station is located in the town centre and can be reached from Exeter and Plymouth stations within an hour. Onward travel to Paignton Zoo is by bus (the Paignton bus station is right opposite the train station) or a 20 minute walk along Totnes Road.
